Update for the end of the year

We much enjoyed the Pentangles workshop given by Penny Brockheart.  It was lots of fun and scores of patterns to be made - that's part of the attraction.

Penny Brockheart gave us very comprehensive instruction  on various aspects of Zentangles but because of copyright we decided to use the word Pentangles.

Her patterns and methods do vary from true Zentangles.

We learned how to start with a square, make a pattern with pencil as if it was a piece of string being laid on the paper. Then in each section of this pattern we learnt how to add various recognised patterns using the Zentangle method.
