What could be more rewarding than working on a still life in pencil for a couple of hours?
It won't move, the shadows don't change ... and you can rub out your errors (should you make any!).
At the end of April FHAS will hold the annual Drawing Competition and to give members a chance to hone their skills, an afternoon workshop was held last week. John Strickland was on hand to offer artistic advice.
A group of coloured bottles was set up and those 12 members and two guests who participated much enjoyed the session and produced some excellent renditions.
If all our members put as much thought and effort into their entries for the annual drawing competition, it will prove a difficult competition to judge! Well done.
Thanks Maureen for the photographs.
