Morag Noffke treated us to some therapeutic art at the march 10th workshop.
Alex Johnston recaps:
"First of all we had to clear our minds and faced with a blank piece of paper draw a pattern with a piece of string dipped in ink. That finished we then attempted to develop the pattern using a stick, cotton bud and ink.
The second exercise was folding a piece of A4 paper in three.
We were required to draw the head of an animal, then pass it on to the person beside for the torso and then next person added the legs. Good fun lots of really exotic animals!!!
The last exercise was choosing a small piece of magazine print and sticking it onto A3 watercolour
paper then completing the picture with either watercolours, pencil or pastel. The whole idea was get us to loosen up and paint more like we would have done as children!!!!
Verdict: Enjoyable."
Alex has sent some photos to remind members of the fun afternoon.
