Nova Constantia

It was a fine sunny day and the venue, most appealing.

We drove through to Nova Constantia in the beautiful Constantia valley where we had the run of the gardens around this old manor house.

Attendance was high and we were delighted to learn that we might even have the chance of returning here next year as owner Margie Garrett confirmed that the autumn colours are beautiful and as painters we'd be captivated by another aspect of this lovely property.

RAY POTTER DEMONSTRATES

A chilly evening outside, but a good one inside the hall.
Ray Potter, the well liked and excellent local watercolour painter came to give a demonstration.
The FHAS members and guests much appreciated the instruction by this gifted artist.
President John Strickland was on hand to welcome the guest artist and to offer appreciative thanks at the end.
