Tuesday's July workshop was a little out of the ordinary - and much enjoyed by all the participants.
Peter Ford invited everyone to make a drawing of their hand. So far, so good. Then this drawing was put aside and we all made a model of the same hand in clay.

Then, we drew the hand once more - and were amazed at the improvements we had made in the short hour or so contemplating our non-drawing hand.
The lesson? Observation is the key to good art. We had a great workshop and the dozen or so participants were delighted with the afternoon. |
