And the winner is...

Fish Hoek Art Society held its annual drawing competition. Where were you? A poor turn out but a fine work from the winner.
The competition was good fun. Clive ran through the rules and regulations governing entries for this, and other competitions. We seem to have got this straight at last.

President Cindy presents the prize to the well deserving winner, Suzette Duby.

A surprise, too.

Not only is Suzette a new member of the Society but a gifted one: she took both first and third prize with her beautiful works. The Otter study, below left, clinched the first prize.

Val Parry (photo above: sitting next to Cindy and beside talented husband/artist, David), took the second prize for a fine portrait of Betty Salmon, another excellent artist and fellow member of Fish Hoek Art Society.

Work such as this is an inspiration to us all and we look forward to the challenges provided in future competitions by such competent pieces of art.
